What should the policy be on advertising in Larryville.com? NOTE: Free Planet, Inc. is opposed to obnoxious, in your face, pop-up, type advertisements! At the same time, it is going to cost a lot of money to put up an truly competitive alternative news source. Where should we advertise? Where shouldn't we? What types of ads are appropriate? Which ones are not? |

If advertising must be, you could have an expanded forum section like the dreaded LJW does, i think they call theirs "marketplace". I actually use marketplace a lot, in lieu of the phone book. |

agreed, popups and ad banners would destroy the feel of larryville. |
