Has anyone tried growing Tomatoes in the upside down hanging planters?

If so, did you have success?

YES I HAVE TRIED IT. THE BIGGEST PROBLEM I HAD WAS PLANTS TURNING AND GROWING UP TOWARDS THE SUN. IT IS ALOT CLEANER AND "NO WEEDING" BUT AS SOON AS THE FRUIT GETS PRETTY GOOD SIZE IT PUTS TO MUCH WEIGHT ON THE PLANT AND THE PLANT STARTS TO BREAK AND SNAP THE BRANCHES. HOPE THIS HELPS AND IS NOT TO LATE.(DON'T GET ON TO OFTEN)

The plants ARE doing well, much better than the hailed on, water logged ones in the ground. They have begun to turn upwards as poster stated theirs had. I should take photo's.

Thanks all for the replies.
