Does anyone have any ideas on how I can save my garden from the below freezing temps this week???

yeah, what the hell??@! 82 degrees Monday and now a wind chill of 13??
Lots of my plants are up like it's summer. They're too big and too numerous to cover. I'm just crossing my fingers and hoping that they're close enough to my house to be protected.

Thanks Dorothy,
That makes me feel better. All of my plants are perennials that have sprouted out of their own merit. I just assumed they knew what they were doing.....hopefully you're right!

Im not too worried about my flowers, what im worried about is my vegatable garden. I am growing tomatoes, green beans, sweet peas, spinach, bell peppers, cayanne peppers, carrots, onions, garlic and potatoes ..... any ideas on these, should I maybe just start them over after the freeze?? Thank you so much for your help, this is the first time I have had a garden, it is going pretty good so far......except for the damn weather!

Ok, thanks, one more question though, the tomatoes and peppers have not sprouted yet, should I still cover them? or if they are in the ground will they be fine.

I will keep you posted on how everything turns out, I never had any idea that gardening could be so much fun! Plus, since we decided to have an organic raised bed garden, it has been a learning experience also!

A reply to covering the peas.I once had it lightly snow on my peas. They
did fine.I always plant little marvel. That seems to be one veggie you
can plant early and relax, the rest well Mama always said except for root
crops your never really safe to plant till May 10.I'm just as guilty as the
rest of ya.I have a itch to play in the dirt.
