This was passed down from my grandmother. I think it is at it's best when fresh rasberries are used. I use fresh fruit when I have it.

Old Fashioned Cobbler

6-8 servings
1/4 C. Marj. or butter melted. 1 C. sugar 1 C. milk 1/2 teas. Cinnamon
Peaches or other fruit to cover bottom of 9x9 baking dish. 2 Eggs 1/2 teas.Salt
1 Cup Flour 2 teas. Baking powder

Put peach halves, slices or other fruit drained, into a 8x8 or 9x9 inch pan that is buttered.(Enough to cover the bottom of the pan). Sprinkle 1/2 of the sugar over the peaches. Make a batter of the remaining ingreds., and pour it over the top to cover the peaches.

Place it in a 375 degree oven, and cook for about 35 mins. Check for browning on the top. Don't over

bake. It is the best when it is moist and warm. Cool slightly, and serve with coolwhip or icecream.
