Post subject:  Black Bottom Cupcakes

This is a easy cupcake receipe you don't need to ice them and they
are so moist.
Black Bottom Cupcakes
Mix: 8 oz. cream cheese
1 egg
1/2 cup sugar
6 oz. chocolate chips
reserve this mixture to place on top of cupcake batter.
Mix: 1 1/2 cup flour
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup cocoa
1 tsp soda
1 tsp salt
Mix then add:
1 Cup water
5 Tblsp. oil
1 Tblsp. vinegar
1 tsp. vanilla
Fill cupcakes 1/2 full. Top with 1 Tblsp. cream cheese/chocolate chip
mixture. Bake 20-25 min. 350 degrees.

do you have to use a certain kind of vinegar... white.. apple?? these sound pretty yummy might have to make them this weekend :grin:

I always use white vinegar.But since you asked my sister and I had a
debate over this. Our pie crust receipe calls for vinegar and all she had
was apple cidar vinegar and she didn't want to use it.What is the difference between the two? Could you use either?

I have no clue. I rarely ever use vinegar for anything. I just figured they had a different taste to them. I normally only use white vinegar too if I make anything that has it in it. I may have to research this now just so I can see if there is a difference lol. :grin:
