I had just worked out and was craving some protein...really craving it! So I looked through the somewhat barren kitchen to find some. I found an individually wrapped hot dog in the freezer. I pulled a couple of eggs and some shredded cheese from the refrigerator. And then I remembered the leftover refried beans! Oh yeh, and I knew I would find a way to finish off that bit of miso soup. Heaven forbid anything is thrown away around here! And finally, thank God for tortillas! I wrapped it all up and voila! It tasted like a healthier version of something you might find on the Sonic menu!

Needless to say, I am very excited about this conconction, despite the fact that it's got a hot dog in it. I'm really happy about the recipe forum. Otherwise I'd be eating stuff like this all the time. :)

Directions:

1 whole hot dog - boil

1 tortilla - steam over the top of boiling pan
(When the tortilla is soft, warm, and moist, lay it on a plate.)

2 scrambled eggs (any way you like them...I added a splash of milk and a couple of crushed saltines like mom used to make).

Shredded cheese - sprinkle over eggs

2 globs of refried beans - warm up in the egg skillet (I thinned them with a small amount of leftover miso soup).

Pour the beans over the cheese and eggs.
Place the whole hot dog in the center.
Do your best to wrap up the burrito.
Enjoy!

I had your invention for breakfast this morning (minus the miso soup). It was great!
