Anyone have a good old-fashioned (pre Crisco) recipe that your grandmother's mother handed down? I'm looking for something with regular butter, not crisco (or some other vegetable-based crap). Years ago I had a piece of wedding cake that I later found out had frosting called "butter cream". There's hundreds of recipes on the web, and while I could try those, was willing to give a fellow Lawrencian's recipe a shot ;)

Still interested in butter cream recipes that have been handed down a few generations :)
