What is the weirdest thing your dog has ever done?

We have a black lab that we found on the side of the road about 8 years ago, and we quickly discovered that she likes to re-cycle her food as many times as possible if we don’t keep her on the leash when we take her out. Actually, a friend of ours said she would be a great dog in New York City……we would not have to have a pooper scooper since we have a pooper eater. So, hubby went to this ethnic store and brought home a can of silkworm larvae for some of our friends and us to try out. We opened the can and each of the 6 of us took a piece and immediately spit it out, with one piece landing on the floor. Nina ran over (remember, this is a dog who eats anything) and she sniffed it and walked away. Needless to say, if you see silkworm larvae in a gourmet store, it isn’t worth it!!

My son's dog will steal the loaf of bread anytime he gets the chance and hide it in MY bed under MY pillow at any opportunity.

The dog only hides bread or tortillas - nothing else and only in my bed. He doesn't sleep with me, lie on my bed- except when I am not home.

He keeps his bones and treats in HIS bed, bread? That's for me. I think he's wanting me to pack his lunch or something, lol

Booked a flight to Selangor, Malaysia and did some earthquake relief concerts with Lady Gaga and Sting.

He also humps the stuffing out of the neighbours garden gnome.

I once had a little dog, and he started acting "wierd". Didn't seem to feel well, and was having a lot of diarreha. The vet couldn't figure out what the problem was. The next day while cleaning up a soiled "puppy pad", I figured it out. There was a very slimy fully threaded needle in the "waste"...... :D'oh:

Did you happen to notice the title of thread? There is nothing funny about your dog having a needle up its ---.

You are right Gern. Not funny at all. He was really very sick until he passed it. Took it to the vet, and he'd never seen anything like it. Everything turned out fine though; he never ate any more needles, and in the end it was, as this thread asked, just WIERD!
