All voters CHECK your voting status frequently to be sure Sam and Kobach have not purged YOU AMERICANS from the documents.

We say it cannot happen. Yes it it can. By the time voters discover they have been purged it will be too late to vote.

Here is the link to check your status as a registered voter.

Former House Speaker Jim Wright found himself unable to vote because he lacked voter ID. Wright is a democrat living in Texas.

Some democrats are finding themselves as not registered out of the clear blue. Republicans might be safe UNLESS you are a republican
that will not support the extreme right wing that has subverted the GOP.

Green Party people should check their registration 24/7.

Voting Rules Are Changing Frequently - THIS CAN happen in Kansas.

ALEC Associates aka legislatures Are Changing VOTING Rules as they go - yes THIS CAN happen in Kansas. Kansas is part of an ALEC network of red state.

Scott Walker Signs Restrictive Voting Measures, Promptly Jets Off to Kiss Sheldon Adelson’s Ring
Fri, 03/28/2014

Despite vocal opposition from voters across Wisconsin, Republican state legislators last week passed several new voting restrictions at the end of the legislative session.

The measures restrict early absentee voting hours to Mon-Fri 8am-7pm and eliminate weekend voting, restrict voting options for people living in residential nursing care and assisted living facilities, and expand the times when lobbyists can contribute to political campaigns. A Marquette Law School Poll released Wednesday found that 66 percent of Wisconsinites prefer expanding or maintaining current early voting hours, while only 32 percent favor a reduction.

Not to be outdone, on Thursday Republican Governor Scott Walker signed the new voting restrictions into law, part of 31 bills he signed behind closed doors in Milwaukee. Walker previously told reporters the bills weren’t on his radar, but he signed the elections and campaign finance bills with minor line-item vetoes to the 45-hour weekly limit on total early voting hours and appropriations, enacting egregious early absentee voting restrictions with the stroke of his gubernatorial pen.

At a Madison press conference following the news that Governor Walker had signed the measures, Wisconsin State Rep. Chris Taylor (D-Madison) noted the measures’ impact:

"One in six of Wisconsin voters votes absentee, almost 17 percent of our electorate votes in person absentee. We should be doing more to encourage people to vote, not less. If people in this building care about voting rights they would set a floor, not a ceiling."
Taylor went on to say that the measures, combined with the expansion of corporate money in politics, amount to no less than an attempt to silence the people’s voice in elections. She noted that the combined measures will disproportionately affect people with disabilities, minorities, senior citizens, and students, making it harder for everyday people to vote while making it easier for lobbyists to influence elections.

To add insult to injury, Walker — who is running again for governor in 2014, and entertaining a presidential bid in 2016 -- then boarded a jet to Las Vegas to attend a private conference with billionaire GOP kingmaker Sheldon Adelson, a casino mogul who poured millions of dollars into the 2012 elections.

Walker is one of several GOP presidential hopefuls convening in Las Vegas to “audition” for support from Adelson and other wealthy GOP donors. So while voters back home in Wisconsin try to figure out how they’ll get to the polls, the governor and other presidential aspirants are gathering to “kiss the ring” of Adelson and his millionaire buddies.

Thinking of Koch/ALEC goals…. all voters CHECK your voting status frequently to be sure YOU have not been purged from American voting rolls.

We say it cannot happen. Yes it it can. By the time voters discover they have been purged it will be too late to vote.

--- Voter ID and Election Laws

ALEC is directly tied to the emerging trend among state legislatures to consider voter ID laws. Using false allegations of “voter fraud,” right-wing politicians are pursuing policies that disenfranchise students and other at-risk voters --
including the elderly and the poor -- who are unlikely to have drivers’ licenses or other forms of photo ID.

By suppressing the vote of such groups, ALEC’s model “Voter ID Act” grants an electoral advantage to Republicans while undermining the right to vote.

In addition, ALEC wants to make it easier for corporations to participate in the political process. Their Public Safety and Elections taskforce is co-chaired by Sean Parnell of the Center for Competitive Politics, one of the most vociferous
pro-corporate election groups, and promotes model legislation that would devastate campaign finance reform and allow for greater corporate influence in elections.

Diebold: New name, same bad voting machines!

“Diebold Election Systems” are three words synonymous with the aggressive pursuit of failure. Not only did the company badly implement a dubious concept — unverifiable electronic touch-screen voting machines — but it did so with determined flourish, letting its code and internal communication leak out onto the Web; employing as a chief executive a man who declared he was “committed to helping Ohio deliver its electoral votes to the president next year”; abusing copyright law in an attempt to quell its critics; and, among many other caught-red-handed indiscretions, deleting criticism of itself from Wikipedia.

No wonder, then, that Diebold Election Systems has decided to steal a page from the playbook of that paragon of corporate responsibility Philip Morris (aka the Altria Group): Diebold will erase its sorry history with a simple name change!

Henceforth, when reaching for an example of mind-boggling incompetence, please say “Premier” rather than “Diebold,” because Diebold Election Systems is now Premier Election Systems.

The name change, the company says in a press release, “signals a new beginning” and a “fresh identity” — though in the same release the firm concedes that it will still be making and pushing the same sorry voting machines (machines that, as Princeton computer scientist Edward Felten and his colleagues showed last year, are actually vulnerable to a virus-based attack).

Why the name change? Well, Diebold’s got a lot of other businesses — it makes ATMs and security systems for health firms and for the government, and the election subsidiary has always been something of a sideline. Lately it became an embarrassing sideline, dragging down Diebold’s good name. That’s why, a couple of years ago, Diebold moved to sell the unit. Shockingly, it found no takers.

Now, along with the name change, the parent company (which will remain Diebold) is creating an autonomous corporate structure for Premier, further distancing itself from ineptitude. David Byrd, who headed Diebold Election Systems, will run Premier.

The company also drastically lowered its earnings expectations for the year. Previously Diebold expected to make more than $185 million on elections in 2007; now, due to the “rapidly changing political environment” surrounding voting technology (read: politicians across the land realizing that running elections on such systems is maddeningly stupid), Diebold says sales will drop by about $120 million.

I say encourage all democratic and Green Party voters to register to vote no matter if one believes they are registered.

Call this procedure "back up". Take some voters with you.

Don't ever believe your vote is safely registered not with this law breaking GOP in office.

The voter fraud is in the GOP. Lying to voters day after day. Fraud Fraud Fraud = the lying GOP.

Voter ID and Election Laws

The GOP is directly tied to the emerging trend among state legislatures to consider voter ID laws.

Yup, Voter ID Laws Have Nothing to Do With Fraud

New research confirms what was obvious: Republican voter identification laws are purely partisan power plays, targeted at groups that vote for Democrats.
One of the most shocking political developments of last year was the speed with which Southern, Republican-controlled states embraced voter identification laws after the Supreme Court overturned section 2 of the Voting Rights Act. To critics, including myself, this was an easy call: GOP lawmakers were taking advantage of a newly permissive policy environment to suppress minority voters, and African Americans in particular.

If this sounds like an outrageous accusation, then it’s worth reading a recent paper from Keith G. Bentele and Erin E. O’Brien, which brings statistical analysis to bear on the question of voter identification laws. What they found was surprisingly straightforward: Between 2006 and 2011, if a state elected a Republican governor, increased its share of Republican legislators, or became more competitive while under a Republican, it was more likely to pass voter ID and other restrictions on the franchise. Likewise, states with “unencumbered Republican majorities” and large black populations were especially likely to pass restrictive measures. Their broad conclusion, in other words, is that these laws are the result of fierce partisan competition:

Zooming out, a straightforward picture emerges. Our analyses identify a very substantial and significant association between the racial composition of a state’s residents or active electorate and both the proposal and passage of voter restriction legislation. This association is robust across multiple modeling approaches and controlling for a wide variety of relevant factors. Further, these findings demonstrate that the emergence and passage of restrictive voter access legislation is unambiguously a highly partisan affair, influenced by the intensity of electoral competition.

Put another way, the rush for voter ID has nothing to do with fraud—which is near non-existent—and everything to do with political gain. And for Republicans who want the most bang for their voter suppression buck, African Americans are an obvious target; reduce their share of black voters in the electorate, and—in states like Florida, Ohio, and North Carolina—you cripple Democratic chances in statewide elections.

It’s not hard to see how this works. If you’re impoverished, unbanked, or otherwise outside of the mainstream economy, it’s hard to collect or purchase documents, and file for ID. Moreover, it’s simply true that, because of past discrimination and persistent racial inequality, blacks are more likely to fall into those categories. Any law that makes voting a function of resources—which is how voter identification laws work—is a law that will disproportionately harm African Americans.

If this research says anything, it’s that partisan Republicans know this, and are acting accordingly. Does this make them “racists?” I don’t know, and it doesn’t matter. What matters are outcomes, and with voter ID laws, the GOP is pursuing that one that’s unambiguously harmful to black people.

BEGIN ORGANIZING YOUR VOTING DAY PACKETS = Democracy NOW Brownback and Kobach May Have Purged YOU From the Voting Rolls

Okay let's plan ahead. We know that Brownback/Kobach agenda is to keep voters from the polls using a fraudulent position on voting frauds which make Brownback and Kobach the frauds.

Voters all voters it is time to BEGIN ORGANIZING YOUR VOTING DAY PACKET which should contain:
--- a birth certificate

--- drivers license or state ID card

--- proof of voter registration etc etc etc.

--- Keep it close by as voting opportunities will occur about 4 times in the next 10 months.

Let's get on with it. Vote the Paul Davis/Jill Docking ticket they are going to have a house to clean up.

Sorry to say the grand ole party that represented the Fiscal Conservative/Socially Responsible
republicans is dead. Over thrown by a radical right wing Libertarian coup which represents hate and outlaws.

Once again….Voters all voters it is time to BEGIN ORGANIZING YOUR VOTING DAY PACKET. Keep it close by as voting will occur about 4 times in the next 10 months.

Brownback/Kobach will never give up squashing democracy and YOUR right to vote.

Even though I was raised in an extremely religious family, I no longer believe in an interventionist god. I’m not a new-ager and I don’t worship Gaia or practice Wicca or anything like that, I’ve just come to the conclusion that I really have no clue about how we came to be and I think people who think they know the One True way out of all the possibilities out there are a tad egotistical. This makes my family and some friends sad but a lot of my friends feel the same way. I am currently studying Mandarin Chinese and hope to visit China someday.
